Prestige Classes and Multiclassing
Made a new post due to the feedback I got on the Wizards' boards on Gestalt games. *** These PrCs are banned: Arcane Trickster, Eldritch Knight and Mystic Theurge. As well as any others from sources other than the DMG which give you the abilities of two Classes at once. You may take other PrCs in place of one of your base classes but not two PrCs in the same level. Ex: You start Rogue/Sorcerer. You go into Dragon Disciple when you meet the requirements. You can be Dragon Disciple/Rogue(or Sorcerer, or any other base Class) but not Dragon Disciple/Dervish. I'd like you to keep with the same two classes you start with unless/until you want to add a PrC. BAB and Saves are taken from the higest saves each level from those classes. Skill points are determined each level. Highest number of points and the class skills of both classes. You may buy ranks from any skill which is a class skill of one of your classes up to your maximum ranks that level but if it is not a class skill for the classes for that level (for example, a level you take a PrC) you pay the cross-class cost (2 points/rank instead of 1). You will be expected to supply BackGround or story reasons for taking two Classes which are incompatable on the surface together. A Monk/Barbarian or a Paladin/Bard for example. Please keep in mind that a Classes limitations are still in effect. A Barbarian/Sorcerer still couldn't cast or do anything that requires intelligent thought or concentration while Raging. Despite the Fighter's knowledge of armor, a Monk/Fighter would still miss out on his Class' AC bonus if he decides to wear some.

If you take a PrC please be aware that you will need to continue in that PrC until the point where you max it out (Lv5 or 10 depending on the Pretige Class you take) and then will return to your two starting Classes. You can pick either base class for the other "half" of the Gestalt during those levels. Also, if you are interested in PrCs which fit your character concept/BG/game events just let me know. I have access to several books and even know of a PrC you guys might want to take in a few levels (you tend to only enter PrCs at Lv6 or so due to "8 ranks in" Skill restrictions).
